100 Things

Since it is the season of Thanksgiving I decided I would make a list of 100 things (in no particular order) that I am thankful for. This might be a challenge, but I think I can do it. Whenever I feel down I play this game in my head where I list my blessings. It usually helps me to snap out of my bad moods. So this is a way to put it down on paper or I mean the internet.

Thankful I wasn't a pioneer. I don't think it would have made it to the West alive!

The Facebook

Josh and I went to the theaters last Monday and saw the Social Network. I loved this movie. I'm not afraid to admit that Facebook is a big part of my life (you so know it's a big part of yours too). I loved how it went through the making of Facebook, through the lawsuits and most of all the genius of it. The script was awesome.

Facebook initially was set up as a social network for Harvard students in 2004. It then grew to include other universities. I remember when you had the have a college .edu email address from a list of schools that Facebook approved. When BYU-I was added to the list I signed up. It was pretty cool back in 2005 when it was exclusively only for certain colleges. Now anyone can join. So I can basically say I was an early pioneer of Facebook.

I love Facebook because it allows you to stay connected with your friends and family. I would have lost touch with tons of my friends if it hadn't been for facebook. I love how easy it is to stay in touch with people and find out whats going on in the world. Plus you have to love some of your friends status updates!

If you haven't seen the movie, go see it! As much as some people don't like it, Facebook is changing the way we interact with each other. I believe its an important part of life today. Think about how many conversations start with, "did you see what So-And-So posted on Facebook?"

Rockerween (Halloween 2010)

Halloween was a blast! Cody and beth did a halloween party at their house and it was so much fun!

Josh and I were members of the band Falcon Quest. Falcon Quest is our rockband band. I made us custom Falcon Quest shirts. Forever 21 and a few other odds and ends did the rest. We had a good time putting our outfits together. I laughed so hard when Josh donned the blond wig!

Yoda and Princess Leia. This was Yodas first halloween party and I think he handled it pretty well. In my opinion he was the best dressed baby!

Kate & Dustin. Dustin stayed in character the whole night. It was awesome.

The Ericksons in their Star Wars costumes complete with light sabers!

Us and Dr. Horrible (who won best costume).

Josh Rockin the drums.

Cody and Beth.

Rockband. What would a party be like without Rockband?

Do you love my lace gloves?

Eyeore and Trevor or I mean Trevor and Jessie.

2010 Halloween was a success. I can't wait for next years!
